Clear basis for claims
Guides use published product specifications, manufacturer documentation, relevant standards, and carefully considered user feedback. Safety claims need particularly strong support and should be verified against current manufacturer guidance.
No invented testing
We do not write that we tested, carried, installed, or used a product unless that direct experience is true and recorded. Guides make the basis for their recommendations clear.
Affiliate independence
Recommendations are organized around use case and tradeoffs, not a fixed roster of brands. Affiliate links, when added, will be disclosed clearly and will not determine editorial conclusions.
